New Resident Doctor Representatives join BCS Committees

We’re delighted to confirm the new Resident Doctor Representatives who will join BCS Committees later this year.

We believe it’s important that the opinions of resident doctors are part of the conversations we’re having and help direct the work we’re doing.

To ensure our committees have a broad range of voices from across the profession, we actively appoint resident doctor representatives and aim to have two in position at any one time.

New representatives

The following 16 members have successfully been appointed as resident doctor representatives on their relevant committee:

Clinical Standards Committee

Digital and IT Committee

Education Committee

Environment and Sustainability Committee

Finance Committee

Guidelines and Practice Committee

Heritage Committee

Professional and Society Values Committee

Programme Committee

This year we received a huge volume of applications – a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to apply, we appreciate your efforts and encourage you to re-apply for future opportunities with the BCS.
