Your voice. Your community. Your leadership.
Each year the BCS holds Elections to elect eligible members into vacant positions of leadership within the Society.
Electing members onto our Board as Officers or into Council or Committee roles ensures we bring clinical expertise into our decision-making committees which lead on the direction of our work, as outlined in our 3-year strategy.
Additional position available for election
Following this year’s BCS Membership Election results, which saw Dr Louise Buchanan elected to the Vice President for Education role, her previous role is now vacant.
The Vice President for Professional and Society Values role, which sits on our Board will open for nominations on Wednesday 22 July 2026.
BCS Ordinary Members who may be eligible to stand for this position, will receive an email with further details on this date.
