We’d like to congratulate the newest members of the BCS team on their election to post following the nomination stage of the annual process.
Each year, Ordinary and Affiliate members of the Society are able to nominate themselves for an available Executive or Committee position.
Elected members
Following this year’s process, the following members have been elected after we received their unopposed nominations. The posts have, therefore, been appointed to without election:

We look forward to officially welcoming them to their new roles at our 2025 AGM.
Voting roles
Several roles received more than one nomination and are therefore taken to the ballot stage. Ordinary, Associate (BJCA) and Affiliate members are able to cast their vote for the candidate they wish to be appointed to position. Please note, Affiliate members may only vote for Committee roles.
The roles are:
- Clinical Standards Committee
- Council, Non-surgical Centre Representative
- Digital and IT Committee
Voting will open on Thursday 1 May and takes place through our online nominations and voting platform, manage by Civica. All Ordinary, Associate (BJCA) and Affiliate members of the Society will receive an email containing a unique link and further details on how to cast their vote.
Voting will be open from Thursday 1 May until 11:59pm on Thursday 22 May and results will be announced at the AGM on Wednesday 4 June.
