National Clinical Impact Awards (NCIA) - 2026 awards round
The 2026 NCIA application round is now open and closes at 5pm on Wednesday 20 May 2026.
To help applicants prepare, the Advisory Committee on Clinical Impact Awards (ACCIA) has published timelines and updated guidance on its gov.uk page.
The ACCIA only accepts applications through its online portal.
There are no substantive changes to the application process compared to 2025. Please read the applicants’ information below:

NCIA applications no longer include rankings and citations from national nominating organisations such as the BCS.
