- The yearly Fellowship fee covers an annual period. Fellows are required to pay an annual Fellowship fee in addition to their standard BCS membership fee.
- New FBCS receive their request for pro rata’d payment as soon as they are approved to FBCS. The request for payment is emailed and the payment must be received within 2 weeks of approval notification. Payment should be made online.
- The payment of the Fellowship fee activates the Fellows Privileges.
- All privileges for Fellows will be cancelled if the Fellowship fee remains unpaid after a 2 month window. A lapsed Fellow will remain a Member of the BCS as long as membership fee’s are maintained, but cannot continue to use fellow post nominals.
- A “pay in order” principle applies: the Fellowship fee is due every year and one may only pay the Fellowship fee of the given year, upon payment of the fee of the previous year.
- Fees are reviewed annually and may be subject to change. Members will be notified in advance of any changes to the fee structure.
Exemption of Payment Rules
- In the case where a Fellow is unable to pay his/her Fellowship fee, he/she must contact the Membership Department, giving the full reason for his/her inability to send the payment. The reason should be unexpected (e.g. sudden significant illness or similar).
Payment Terms/Renewal
- FBCS fees are due every year. Payments should be made by card, in pounds only through the link sent to you via email.
